John Mulaney Booked for Seventh Saturday Night Live Hosting Appearance in November

Former Saturday Night Live writer and stand-up comedian John Mulaney is scheduled to host Season 52 Episode 6 (episode 1,014 overall) of Saturday Night Live on November 14, 2026, alongside musical guest Phoebe Bridgers, according to the Season 52 broadcast log on Wikipedia citing TVLine's October 22, 2026 confirmation.

Mulaney, who wrote for Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2012 and co-created the Weekend Update character Stefon with Bill Hader, is the fourth former SNL writer to host the program.

The episode concludes a three-week fall stretch for Season 52 that begins with Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams on October 31 and continues with comedian Druski and The Strokes on November 7. Season 52 also promoted writer Jake Nordwind to writing supervisor alongside Dan Bulla and Will Stephen and added new staff writers Bam Alston from Upright Citizens Brigade and Chase Rosenberg from the Groundlings.
