Over 200 Independent Studios Launch Joint Indie Treasures Sale on Steam
More than 200 independent game studios launched the inaugural Indie Treasures Sale on Steam on November 1, 2026, running through November 15, 2026, to spotlight independent narrative adventures, puzzle games, deckbuilders, and horror titles.
According to Games Press, the two-week curator event was organized by Berlin-based Dorfromantik and Star Birds studio Toukana Interactive to give smaller independent teams shared storefront visibility outside major industry showcases. Participating games span established indie releases such as Cult of the Lamb, Mini Motorways, Don't Starve Together, and PEAK alongside debut titles from emerging small studios.
'For us indie developers in particular, organizing our own joint sale is a big undertaking and a chance to become more independent together,' said Toukana Interactive Co-Founder and Tech Art Lead Zwi Zausch. Toukana Marketing and PR lead Franziska Horn added that the November 2026 event serves as a first test run for the Indie Treasures format, with participating studios planning to expand the collaborative showcase into a recurring event on the Steam calendar.
