Saturday Night Live drew its largest total audience in nearly a year and its highest 18-49 demographic rating in almost two years with its October 31, 2026 Halloween broadcast hosted by Inde Navarrette with musical guest Gracie Abrams, according to Nielsen Live+Same Day data reported by LateNighter on November 3, 2026.

The Halloween episode averaged 5.161 million total viewers (a 17.02 percent average share) and 1.278 million viewers in the adults 18-49 demographic (an 18.85 percent share). Those figures represent a 17 percent jump in total viewers and a 19 percent increase in the 18-49 demo over the October 10, 2026 broadcast hosted by Shane Gillis with musical guest Rosalia, which drew 4.419 million total viewers and 1.076 million in the demo.

LateNighter noted that Saturday Night Live had not recorded higher Live+Same Day total viewership since Ariana Grande's December 2025 holiday episode, nor a larger 18-49 audience since the November 2, 2024 episode hosted by John Mulaney with musical guest Chappell Roan. On YouTube, the episode's 'Scary Halloween Cold Open' featuring Tom Hanks and Bobby Moynihan surpassed 4.5 million views by Wednesday afternoon.
