Downtown Barrie BIA Books The Redhill Valleys to Headline Noella Stage at Meridian Place

The Downtown Barrie Business Improvement Area (BIA) announced on November 3, 2026 that Hamilton three-piece Americana and country-rock band The Redhill Valleys will headline the live concert stage at Meridian Place during the Noella Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Winners of the 2025 Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Award for Group or Duo of the Year—following four consecutive CMAO Roots Artist of the Year titles—The Redhill Valleys (Chelsea McWilliams on bass and vocals, Tim Allard on lead guitar and vocals, and Matt Soliveri on drums) will take the Meridian Place stage at 4:00 p.m., performing songs including 'Making Rumours,' 'Rhinestoned,' and 'Easy Come Easy Go.'

Their afternoon concert will be followed on the Meridian Place stage by Barrie musician Brett Caswell's interactive Choir Revolution sing-along ahead of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Santa Claus Parade, the Rotary Club of Barrie's Festival of Trees, the ceremonial tree lighting, and the City of Barrie fireworks display over Kempenfelt Bay. The free downtown event runs from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and collects donations for the Barrie Food Bank and the Rock 95/Kool FM Toy Drive.
